Grammy's 2009

While my little sis informs you on the steelos and what not, I'M here to let you in on a couple of MY favorite performances. Pssst, bear with me while my last video is BLURRY. I'll be starting off with the SWAGGA LIKE US performance. Now personally, I thought the performance was a bit HYPED up. Don't get me wrong, LOVED it, big ups to MIA btw for pulling through this one, BUT I think the whole thing could've been a little more polished. If that makes any sense? Not only that, a little advice to lip sync-HERS. If you're going to be lip syncing then do NOT, I repeat do NOT forget your lines!!! Check MIA at the beginning, home girl completely forgets what she's saying!



Now, Coldplay had an amazing year with he release of Viva La Vida! And during last nights performance I kind of had it in the back of my mind, but knew for sure it'd be the slightest chance if HOVA came out. And sure enough he did! That didn't make the performance tho! I love Coldplay all together as a whole. Need them taking home 3 Grammys say more? Oh Chris Martin, intrigue me why dontcha!



Last but certainly not LEAST. This collabo was INSANE, who would've THUNK it?! Haha. The Four Tops made their mark in history when it came to music. I thought it was a PHENOMENAL idea to use Smokey, Ne-Yo and Jamie to fill in. They were big shoes to fill in but they did one HELL of a job! My favorite overall!

Grammy's 2009

The Grammy's 2009- some of my favorites of the night were Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Kate Beckinsale, Jennifer Hudson, Estelle, Gwyneth Paltrow and a mighty healthy looking Whitney Houston.
























And might I add. Jennifer Hudson is such a strong woman. She brought chills to me. It amazes me how she can keep her composure, peace & beauty while having gone through so much. Much respect.

Christian Louboutin Spring '09

M.I.A pregnant?!

So I am sitting here in my living room, lounged and watching the grammy's - and M.I.A is a nominee for "Record of the Year" along with Coldplay and other what's-their-names. And my jaw instantly drops! I had no idea she was pregnant! And not only is she pregnant. But she is 9 months pregnant and is supposed to pop this Sunday evening. Amazing. I guess the question now is...who's the daddy?!?!

Jacqueline here reporting for duty! Pssst, you can tell the difference between me and my sister by the way we write, type, blog, etc. Anyways, this videos pretty old, but seeing as it's been a couple days that we've had this up, I thought you'd might be interested in watching. Now Pharrell Williams, the man is a GENUIS first off. One of the things I absolutely LOVE about the guy is how incredibly modest he is. He isn't one to rhyme about the same ol' thing, coming from the streets, yada yada yada. He is an impeccable lyricists to say the least and not just ANY business man BUT a BUSINESS mannnnn. Let him handle his business, damn! (Totally not a lyric made by him but that's too damn bad!)

Ryan Leslie - Weezy?!

I really really like the beat, but seriously, what the heck is he saying?! There is nothing worse than a hot beat with nonsense words or a lousy lyricist. He is on the come up and a talented producer, but what was he thinking? Not to mention the fact that his voice reminds me of a played-out, diamond grilled rapper by the name of Lil Wayne. It's insane how much they sound alike. Why would anyone even try to sound like him? Oh, save me.
